Dr. Kaye challenges you to think outside the box while remaining true to the message. Her insight and approach enable ministry leaders to engage the Digital Age instead of fearing it. I found her practical style to be both refreshing and much needed – Steven Kyle, Senior Pastor, Hiland Park Baptist Church, Panama City, FL

In these days were everything is digital and everything that is digital is rapidly changing, Dr. Kaye’s course was an answer to prayer. It seems too often even established Christian ministries are “behind the curve” when it comes to implementing a digital strategy. This course not only provides some excellent conceptual and strategic information, it also provided some practical tips and action items that could be implemented immediately. I highly recommend this course as a “must attend” for any person who is looking to evaluate an existing digital ministry, and especially one who is looking to create one! – Chris Van Buskirk Director of Online Education at Lancaster Bible College

I recently enrolled in Dr. Kaye’s “Christian Digital Ministry” webinar offered through Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. I was immediately able to implement sections of the class into my ministry. This class also offered an opportunity to evaluate where I, personally, and my congregation, in ministry, were in use of digital technology and its use in our ministry. Dr. Kaye was very well versed in the subject, able to address questions I had not even thought of asking prior to the class, very encouraging to each student, kind, gracious and enthusiastic on leading our class and guiding us in our ministry. Her winsome attitude and personality made this class a pleasure and the time seemed to pass all too quickly. I look forward to opportunity of further growth with Dr. Kaye’s guidance in my ministry as we seek ways to reach out and share the Good News of God’s reaching into our kingdom
to open the doors to His everlasting Kingdom – Pastor Kendall Schaeffer, St. Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Clarkston, Michigan

Dr. Kaye provided us with a boatload of additional references and contributed her experience and insight during the lecture time to expand our growing understanding of these important ministry tools. What she told us about meeting people in this electronic world, challenged me to see my role as pastor to include building bridges to people who are participating in electronic media. It was an eye opener for me. I used the digital tech for my needs, but had not considered how to connect with people in creative ways n Facebook. My eyes not wide open, I wanted to thank Dr. Kaye for an informative, challenging and useful course.” Thanks Dr. for a great class. With joy – Pastor Ben Meyers, Sr. Pastor, Baycities Lomita

Dr. E.M. Kaye’s class on Digital Ministry was enjoyable and extremely enlightening.   Her passion for the use of electronic and social media for the sake of “making disciples of all nations” needs to be caught by the Church today. Her expertise on the subject, her strong ability to convey this knowledge in the classroom, and her commitment to her students shines through in her teaching. One cannot walk away from Dr. Kaye’s class without being challenged to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus in a way never before imagined, and to unwrap and use the gift of digital media that The Lord has given to us for this time. – Rev. John G. Fleischmann, M.Div. Pastor. Christ Lutheran Church (LCMS) East Moriches, L.I., NY

What a blessing it was to take Dr. Kaye’s course in Digital Ministry. In this course, I was able to analyze the websites that I use in my two ministries. I am CEO of the Amundsen Educational Center, which is designed to teach young people of diverse backgrounds vocational skills in a Christian atmosphere. I also direct Vision Alaska, which is a cooperating ministry with the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. The course has been highly beneficial to both ministries. Those with more limited computer skills, will also learn so much they need to know about the digital world they and their church  live in.  So there is nothing to fear, the course is very “user friendly.” I would like to thank Dr. Kaye for her friendly manner and the outstanding book she wrote on this topic. I would also like to thank her for her proactive, helpful attitude towards her students. Thank you for an outstanding course. It was highly organized and extremely helpful to the advancement of God’s Kingdom. – Roger E. Holl, CEO. Amundsen Educational Center

I am a  Pastor in my church. I have been pastroing for a few years . Dr Kaye , I would like to thank you very much for the session on Digital Ministry. It was very, very interesting and informative. In that session I learnt a lot on how this Age needs to digitalise and come to terms with the modern trends of technology. Your smile was the catch that drew all my attention throughout the entire day. I enjoyed this module very much to an extent that I am thinking of taking my PhD dissertation in digital Ministry. I have learnt from Dr Kaye that without a functional digital ministry  a church will  not make it in the 21st century.  For me, the lesson was a paradigm shift. The church has to focus on digital ministry in order to remain relevant to this age. A lot of churches around me do not have even a website. I purchased Dr Kaye’s book because I saw it as a guidebook and  a tool that my ministry need to launch into the deep with the gospel of Jesus Christ. For the younger Christians and the youth to remain in church, we have to embrace this new paradigm and use it . I have learnt that it is vital to involve the youth in this digital ministry. To that end I have appointed a Digital and Media Team at our church that include 5 Youths and a digital Ministry Leader. They had been doing it unofficially but the church is now planning to introduce them to the church as a ministry. I have since had several meetings with our Digital Ministry Team. We have now appointed a digital Ministry Team Leader who is very happy to lead in that ministry. This is all because of the session conducted by Dr Kaye. Our Website has been revamped and we are looking to carry monthly website reviews . This has been an eye opener for me.  Again , many thanks  and God bless you for your energy and passion that was imparted to me. – Andrew Chikwanha (MBA; BSc- Hons; BA-Hons). Senior Pastor. New Dimension Kingdom Fellowship. 37 Beaumont Road. Slough. Berkshire. Great Britain.

Before attending Dr. Kaye’s webinar on Christian Digital Ministry I was very anti-social media. I have always felt it is too intrusive and that it takes up too much of people’s time. I recognize that I personally don’t have the time to give to make Facebook and Twitter meaningful in support of my ministry. However, I have gained a better appreciation for how I can use other digital media to make a difference in the lives of others and to fulfill the purpose of God for my life. The inspiration I gained from Dr. Kaye’s course was the section dealing with E-Books and Blogs. I know the Lord has placed in me many books and much to impart to others. I know the Lord has given me the gift of teaching and in addition to lecturing in secular programmes in two of the Universities in Jamaica I have a company with a ministry arm that has as its goal the hosting of online workshops to help persons understand their purpose and understand their leadership role as Christians. E-Books and Blogs are another way that I can get my message out in a cost effective way and touch the lives of the many persons I know the Lord is calling me to encourage. I know He has gifted me with the ministry of encouragement and I have severely limited my ministry by not seizing the opportunity that these digital tools have opened up to make an impact on a global level. I now want to finish up my doctoral dissertation quickly so that I can start using these amazing tools that have been opened up to me through Dr. Kaye’s webinar and fulfill the Lord’s command to disciple the nations. I now feel that it is possible for me to accomplish MY purpose in a much more substantial way in the time I have been given here on the earth. Thanks so much Dr. Kaye. You have truly expanded my borders!! – Valerie Kerr, DBA, RPh. Prophetic Ministry Team Leader. Covenant City Church. Kingston, Jamaica.

This course was an eye opener to me personally. I went into this course with a negative predisposition and old school mindset. I have not completely shifted my thinking on the need for ministry without technology but I do see its necessity. The way we communicate must be adjusted to the way its received in order to have an effective connection. Thank you for offering this information – Michael Boso

I truly appreciate from my heart all i have been able to get through this course. Actually this course has brightened and propitiated me to a state of passion to get my ministry to another level. I truly treasure what I have learnt and long to see its fruit in ministry as soon as possible. In His service – John Sama

I am a digital immigrant. Your class allowed me to explore my future ministry options. I have envisioned a digital ministry for years. Your class opened the door to the first level of my dream. I look forward to your future classes. I will take each one! – Pastor Uwanda Purnell

Thank you so much for teaching us on such an important and practical subject. What you’ve taught us in the class is very helpful. You made us see the challenges and opportunities that the Digital Age has brought to our Christian ministries, and helped us in learning how to use those cutting edge tools. Digital technologies are obvious the most effective way in our ministry for spreading the Gospel as it could go far beyond the boundary of a local community, make Christian message able to reach millions of people. This course is more important to me also because of a specific reason for our missionary in China, as the government currently does not allow foreign trained pastors to physically preach there, so digital technologies will be more effective in conducting our ministry. I will put what I’ve learned into action, using all the possible tools that God has made available to us for His Great Mission. Blessing – Lucy Wang, A Servant of the Lord

This was the first webinar that I have ever taken and I was very nervous as the days and the hours were fast approaching. Moreover, I was not sure what to expect and this added to my anxiety. However, once the webinar started and I saw Dr. Kaye’s warm smile and friendly face, my anxiety quickly turned into peace and I was very relaxed. I was very impressed with the amount of knowledge that Dr. Kaye presented about Christian digital ministry and the speed at which she delivered it. I was easily able to take notes (18 pages!) and have an understanding of a subject that I knew little about. The presentation was very clear and easy to understand. Also, I was thoroughly impressed with the fact that she kept the message of the gospel the main mission of the presentation. Good job Dr. Kaye! Looking forward to reading your book – Richard Titus

Before I got in the class I thought we would talk only about the media and how to use it. The teacher went beyond my expectation. She not only teach how to use it but how to come with digital ministry in the local church. I was impressed by the assignment that we were sent to go and visit a church and see how they are using the digital and then we evaluate and come up with suggestions on how to improve it. That was an eye opener for me because I did not only suggest for them but suggestion on what I am going to do in my church too. Teacher that was very good starting especially for me from remote areas where internet is rare commodity – Veronica Mutisya

I had mixed feelings when enrolling for the Contemporary Christian Digital Ministry course because in my opinion the most influence Christians can exert on the world is through personal relationships. However, the course served as a reminder that our post-modern generation is rightly ascribed the name “digital natives“; therefore, it is imperative to learn and speak the language it understands if we are to fulfill the Great Commission in the 21st century. So, our challenge is then to personalize our digital media as much as it is necessary and, thus, become an understandable and much needed voice in today’s impersonalized world – Jaroslaw Dudziak

I am glad that I took the course. Being a digital immigrant, it has really given me perspectives about digital media and motivated me to explore more how I can be effective in the use of digital media. I must tell you that I am not yet in full time ministry and this course is part of preparation for that. I am currently still in a full time secular job where the majority of my colleagues are digital natives. I must say that this course having immediate impact in my work life, not only with regards to my thoughts on how the digital media part of our organization’s communication and outreach strategy could be improved; but more importantly in reducing the gap between the digital immigrant that is me and the digital natives that is my colleagues. So, thank you very much! – Keboitse Machangana

Christian Digital Ministry Research and Methodologies” – As a result, for me, of this course – I can forge on ahead with confidence! Christian Digital Technology Ministry provided me with the “how-to” part for launching my online digital tech ministry’s presence – putting it in the right perspective and with less complications than imagined. The course was taught with the best possible format for both immigrant, especially, and native digital tech users. I understood, somewhat, the necessary components I needed for launching my ministry, but I did not know where to start or how to begin. I needed “a rope” (as Dr. Elliott, from Research Within a Christian Worldview, puts it) to pull it all together. The course, taught by Dr. E.M. Kaye, Christian Digital Ministry, was the rope. Dr. Kaye’s class brought together the missing link I needed – building a framework with step by step procedures, directions for further expansion options, fine-tuning resources and the means to accomplish it – with clarity and simplicity to move forward with the Good News in this twenty first century with the ministry blessing from the Lord. The course addressed this phenomena and more. Three major components for successfully operating a Christian digital tech ministry were well defined and examined. Organizational systems for evaluating, upgrading, making corrections and improvements to such ministries were discussed at length and in great detail. Questions and answers for specific components for future topics were entertained — and suggested as an offshoot/expansion of this class. The course clarified the meaning and purpose of a Christian Digital Ministry of the Church. Because we inhabit an ever changing world, there is a dire need to change, and improve upon our methods for reaching the loss, the un-churched and the “too busy”. Accessing the means for delivering the Gospel of Jesus Christ in ways that the world now communicates has been made available to the Church. This may be “…the open door to Macedonia…” to evangelize and share the good news both conveniently and acceptably. If I were to grade the course, I would assign to it an A+: for organization, handouts/ literature, presentation/professional delivery, and practicality for immediate participants Implementation. I pray that this course and subsequent ones will continually be offered and available to the Church community. In the Center of His Service … be well, stay safe, be blessed. Carrol A. Wilson, Chancellor and Dean of Mid Western Bible Institute

The thought of a digital ministry has caused many an emotion in me; fear, loathing, trepidations, excitement, anger, encouragement, and more. For the life of me I could not figure out why this particular technology has such an effect on me – both positive and negative. After all, cell phones, texting, recording sermons on MP3, PowerPoint presentations, email, and even distance learning have all become much loved parts of my daily life. So why did I always find myself leery of further implementation of digital ministry in the church? I believe this course has helped to pinpoint the crux of my issue. Simply put, I was expecting the wrong results from digital ministry. Dr. Kaye’s advice became an epiphany to me when she compared a digital ministry to that of a children’s ministry, clothing ministry, or the like. I suddenly began to consider a digital ministry as a way to reach people just like a ministry to the homeless or a recovery group (our church has both a homeless ministry and a recover group). It is not as if we expect people in either of our existing ministries to come in the door on a Sunday and proclaim, “You reached my heart. Now where do I sign up for church membership?” Instead we see the homeless and recovery ministries as ways to extend the Gospel message to those we don’t ever expect to come to church at all. We plan to reach them with the message and touch their lives with the mission where they are, not where we are. In fact we all see the church expanding through these ministries and reaching beyond the walls. However, there has always been a sneaky attitude towards social media and websites. The attitude is, if these web pages don’t bring people into our building, they are a waste of time. Confession. I have personally pulled the plug on a page called Rev Rock Prayer Project because I did not feel I saw the tangible results (more people in church) we expected. By the way, this project once got over 12,6000 views for a single post on Facebook – hindsight is indeed 20/20. I am thankful that I have a new understanding of digital ministry and I am eager to get back into it and pass along this new attitude to my church. I am particularly excited by the prospect of reaching people in different parts of the world through digital ministry. I only hope I can be part of God’s work in reaching every nation on earth with the Good News.- Reverend Jacob Rock. Senior pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN

I highly recommend Dr. Kaye’s courses which address digital ministry. The most recent one I attended was Mobile Ministry which was excellent! Both in terms of content and delivery, Dr. Kaye provided a wealth of material that could be used immediately in any ministry. It was timely, appropriate and up to date. So in addition to being a valuable academic exercise it was extremely practical as well. Chris VanBuskirk, Director of Online Education, Lancaster Bible College

All of us today whether digital migrants or digital natives are living in the aftershock of the digital explosion. I use a cell phone, a tablet, and a computer without realising how vast, how important the digital developments of our time; until the webinar with Dr Kaye on Digital Ministry.   Jean Rochester-Smith

Having attended two of Professor Kaye’s  webinar courses and gone through her book “The Christian Church in the Digital Age: Over 501 Digital Ministry Ideas for Pastors and Christian Leaders” and with a Kindle version of the book on a smartphone to refer to on many occasions,  I am amazed with the simplicity she has come across as an enthusiastic believer and a woman of immense faith using technologies that have permeated all spheres of human endeavor to reach many for Christ Jesus.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the classes which are very illuminating, and interactive. She has taken the ‘digital migrants’ to the state of ‘digital natives’ by  explaining and setting out steps for pastors and church leaders to get on board  using the social media and mobile technologies –  core and non-core digital technologies such as websites, blogs, podcasts, church bulletins, newsletters, ebooks; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Vine, Vimeo, Flickr amongst many technologies that are sprouting daily.

Her courses and books are very relevant for marketplace Christians in learning to evangelize and also prosper in their businesses using the technologies. She comes in the courses and book with a lot of statistics as to usage and the effects on our ways of life and culture change that are dynamic.

We are in the digital age and there is no going back. Professor Kaye points the way to navigate and enjoy this revolution. Gbade Alabi, Chairman/CEO CBCEmea, Nigeria

Thank you for the class it has a great deal of relevancy for my degree program, my ministry, and my work!  It has opened up a whole new avenue of possibilities for me!  What a blessing! Just to let you know I am not a pastor but have a heart for Christian education.  My husband I are the parents of three great kids and their spouses.  We have three grandchildren and one on the way, so excited to say!  I am working on a Combined M.A. and Comprehensive Ph.D. Degree – Focus in Biblical Counseling at Trinity.  I have a educational nonprofit organization called Rio Gate and work as a tutor – Sharon  Powell
